Scam and advertising post
Would you like to see less scam posts in forums?

I am getting a little tired of seeing scam and advertising post in the forums :( and would like to suggest that maybe the registration page could be tightened up so that the process would not complete unless all manadatory fields are filled in and some profile information made mamdatory.

How many members would agree with this?

As a mod, I will tell you that I have posted a similar poll/post in our Moderator Forum. WE are all a little sick of this and are hoping that the admin will do something. Smile

The site will integrate a CAPTCHA for forum posts. it's on their "to do" list.

the purpose of the captcha is to block spam from robots. ..it's a word to type before submitting a post here (like a security code) .. example of a captcha:



.. the robot spammers cannot read it ,so they can't spam anymore.
I fear the human spammers could spam again, but at least, hope they could be tired of filling the captcha each time.
