Didn't realise it was only on videos over one year old.

But it's a crap idea.

I had a number of email form ADMIN asking why I didn't subscribe.

They did not appear to like my answers but this approach is crap.

We are hit with enough ads. I HOPE that the are making enough $$$ to make a real profit without trying to convince everyone to subscribe. I LIKE the ads and don't mind having to wade through them to get to some hot vids.

Now with the restriction IMPOSED it's starting to become like other sites.

1 - THE PEOPLE WHO PUTS THEIR AMATEUR VIDEOS ON YUVUTU - OVER ALL THESE YEARS - HAVE COPYRIGHT ON THEM;

2 - WHEN THESE PEOPLE PUT THEIR VIDEOS ON YUVUTU DID NOT SIGN ANY AGREEMENT FOR ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS TO COMMERCIAL USE (PROFIT) BY YUVUTU;

3 - SO... WHAT YUVUTU IS DOING NOW - TODAY - IS ILLEGAL AND WITHOUT ANY DOUBT GIVES THE RIGHT TO COMPENSATION TO THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS.

WHAT THIS SITE SAYS NOW IS: "YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE VIDEOS, SO YOU HAVE TO PAY TU US"

--------» BUT THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM: THOSE VIDEOS ARE NOT PROPERTY OF THE WEBSITE.

As I explained to you in chat earlier today ... the site does not run on fresh air... it needs to generate income to pay for the storage of the old videos ... no one is taking away your rights to your own videos.

If you subscribed you would be able to view all videos,... whether 12 months old or not... and when you work it out.. £3 a month is very little for the pleasure you can get from Yuvutu

I registered just to say I don't agree with this at all. I can't even get back to old videos I favorited in my browser, they're all locked behind the subscription wall now. I don't even know what they all are, nor who made them. I was nearly considering uploading a few videos before, but seeing as how money is being charged now, I won't bother. What's the point if people like it and they end up in the same situation after a year?

I find it really annoying that everything on my favorites list and several of the people's entire vid list is now unavailable. I realize that there is a need to pay the bills but I don't think this is the way to go about it. This was my favorite site for a couple years now. But now even half the stuff that comes up when you click on the hottest vids you can't watch without paying. Not to mention I didn't see anywhere where we were told they would be making changes. Terrible idea, but probably legal because of some ambiguous thing they put in the fine print. Are they really not making enough money off of subscriptions and live cam chat rooms?

One thought is that it has something to do with yuvutu affiliate program, whereby a user who signs up can earn 50% of the subscription revenue made from any traffic he or she has directed to yuvutu.

i dont want people to pay for the amateurs videos i uploaded, even if it's more than one year old.
So bye bye my videos and i delete my profile now.
