in my opinion, u should be able to unabated. i ve met plenty of ppl that do not have a problem w this. e.g. if i start to talk w fem. in chatroom,"all trolls attack",,,therefore id rather seek conversation in private , to fly under radar. if person does not want to respond ,,,so be it.

In my opinion, whispers are a pain in the ass, and need only be used if you are passing private info... real names, phone number etc.....

I tend to reply in the room if someone sends me a whisper to say "Hi" ... its an adult room... so why can't we be adult and talk in the open?

I always feel the person whispering must feel ashamed to be seen talking to me openly if they insist on whispering all the time for the run of the mill conversations

As I say ... just my humble opinion ... each to their own
