Can't get cam 2 cam working in chat

My cam works fine in chat but I have been invited a few times for a private cam 2 cam; when I accept I get a message stating that the request is going to the server, but nothing happens - no pvt chat. Is there something I missing here? Maybe a setting on my end.

Is your cam already on in the chatroom when you accept the private request? If so, then you will need to turn your cam off first BEFORE you accept the private request. If this is not the case, then a Codemonkey will have to answer with more insight.

It will say that the request has been sent to the server, the other person then gets asked if they would like to accept that request.. if they say accept your cam will start up, if they decline it won't.
