I am an author and my current project is set in an adult chat room. (Tho it's not a porn book!)

I would like to hear about your experiences of being a regular in a chat room. My book is about six characters who know each other thru a chat roon, and their lives inside and outside the room.

These are some basic questions. Please leave some answers to however many questions you like, indeed make up your own questions!! .........

Why do you do it? How many hours are you on per day? Do you have a life outside? (lol). Why don't you 'just turn it off and go out and do summat less boring instead'? Why are you a regular in an adult chatroom if you don't talk about sex? Do you visit any other sites and their rooms or do you only visit one? Are these your real friends? More than any RL people? Are you disabled and find this a fantastic way of expressing yourself? How close to the real you is the chat persona? How did you feel when other chat facilities were withdrawn? eg MSN or WinMX? Is the chat room phenomena able to survive outside adult rooms because of things like facebook? Do you feel like you could live solely in the chat room world? What's the best thing that's ever happened to you in a chat room? The worst? etc etc

Please write as little or as much as you would like.. i will happily read your entire life of chat!!
